Being the geek I am I love Harry Potter, The book series was a big part of my childhood and still brings back many good memories. That being said I am a HUGE fan of the films as as well. This is a scene from ORDER OF THE PHOENIX which I thought would make a great drawing.

Why So Serious?
My Homage to the upcoming film THE DARK KNIGHT, Its truly unfortunate that Heath Ledger died shortly after playing this character.

Fresh Tactics....
I have decided to focus on quality as opposed to quantity, Hoping perhaps to concentrate on detail rather than just simply finishing a sketch to move on to the next one.Heres one of my latest, and yes I am working on some sketches other than my daughter lol!

Dusting Away the Cobwebs.........
I recently was sorting through some of my sketches and doodles trying to weed out what I considered to be rubbish and showed a few to family and friends who said "Hey why don't you post your work on a blog or something?" So I figured why not!
My style of drawing is really whatever strikes my mood, I enjoy drawing from photos simply for the challenge and focus it requires. I do draw a bit of fantasy artwork as well. I probably should concentrate on a specific style but ...oh well. I basically wanted to get my work out to mingle with others who just enjoy drawing, my stuff is not the best by any means.
Here's some sketches I've done in the past few months, I'll post some more as they are completed.
My Daughter Isabella
A drawing of Simon Pegg (Sgt.Angel) from HOT FUZZ, one of my favorite films.
This was a photo in a travel mag I was flipping through, It struck me as interesting. It was titled "Girl in basket".
I love anything to do with Harry Potter, I was pretty happy with this one.
Another drawing of my daughter.
